I will not sell or share your personal information (name, email address, mailing address, etc.) with anyone. When you send me an email or fill out my contact form, I use that information to prepare a quote for your project. I do not share your data or manuscript with anyone (except subcontractors working on the project, like an ebook conversion specialist if we’re doing book design).

If you choose to sign up for my Mailchimp email list, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in the footer of my emails. Although, to be honest, I haven’t sent out an email newsletter in years!
Editing Contract
My book editing contract includes the following rights, confidentiality, and privacy clauses:
- All rights to the original manuscript remain in possession of the Client.
- Editor is granted the right to retain all electronic files and other preliminary materials for further use by Client.
- The Editor will not unnecessarily reproduce the manuscript or give any part of it to anyone not directly involved in the project.
- Editor may work with a carefully vetted subcontracted editor to complete editorial tasks and may share the manuscript with them.
- Editor will not upload any part of the manuscript to a generative AI platform or use a generative AI tool on any part of the manuscript.
- Editor reserves the right to list the published book in her online portfolio and résumé.
When you sign my contract, you can also choose to opt in to my email newsletter and/or receiving occasional physical mail from me (like holiday cards and fun bookmarks).
